Well........it is Rod Blagojevich........what an utter ass..........he is up for some extremely serious charges........got impeached........and now the jerk wants to go on a reality show.........."I am a Celebrity, Get me Out of here"...........what a fool!!!
Thank God there was a very smart and wise judge that put the nix on it......he can't leave the country because he is considered a flight risk...........kudos to that judge!!!!

I don't know...is it me or is Perez Hilton a jackass??
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past couple of days....you are aware that Perez Hilton was a judge on the Miss USA pageant. Poor Miss California had the unfortunate luck to pick his name out of a fishbowl to be subjected to answer a question that he made up......He asked her what she thought of Gay marriage..........
She spoke her mind, which she should be able to do since we are in a free country........she believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman.....
Well, Mr. Perez got his panties all in a snit and now is making a big thing about her not agreeing with Gay marriage...
What an ass.......first of all it is a damn beauty contest....why did such a controversial topic even have to come up??? She was being honest.....what did he expect?? He should not have asked the question if he couldn't handle the answer.....
He is just making a big thing about this so he can get more publicity.
He is a celebrity blogger in case you are wondering who he is......his blog is usually entertaining....but this debacle he started now is unnecessary and boring.

........To shave your legs only up to your miniskirt line.
........to not buy all the doom and gloom you read in the papers. We have problems, we will solve them.
.......to want to "misplace" his hair gel.....Also, his mandals. (I agree 100% men in sandals...eeewww.....especially the ones that do not groom their toenails!!!!!)
.........to have never seen an episode of Star Trek-or to have seen Every. Single. One.
.......to wear bikini bottoms when you haven't done laundry. (if they look like underpants, feel like underpants, and act like underpants, they're underpants, right??)
.........to believe your scale in the morning, but not at night.
.........to have a major crush on Bruce Springsteen. Almost 60 and still rocking those screech-inducing jeans.
.........to stay in and do absolutely, miraculously nothing.
You all know by now I am Italian........and Italians are synonomus with food........lots of food.......and my Easter Brunch was no exception.......
Most normal people would have an egg dish....maybe some bacon, potatoes, toast...perhaps a fancy dessert to celebrate the holiday...........a simple....adequate meal........but what do us Italians do on a holiday?? Why we go OVER BOARD..........if we have room left on the buffet table...we didn't have enough food in our eyes.
Here is what was on our menu:
Cinnamon Swirl French Toast stuffed with cream cheese
Vegetable Fritatta
Homemade granola with yogurt and mixed berrries
Bagels, Criossants, danish, scones and Easter bread
Hash Brown Casserole
Honey baked ham
Easter Ham Pie
Asparagus
Applesauce
Ricotta Cheesecakes
Cookies
Chocolate dipped strawberries and pretzels
Italian Cream birthday cake
I think you get the idea that we over do it.........Non Italians think we are nuts and crazy........take my husband's family for example.......a nice Irish Catholic family..........when my husband and I were dating and I spent weekends with them at their shore house.....I would starve all weekend........now don't get me wrong.....they had 3 meals a day.........but very conservative.........just enough for everyone........don't forget I come from the mentality that if there is no leftovers......THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH FOOD!!!!! It got to the point where I would bring peanut butter crackers in my suitcase..........go lock my self in the bathroom.......eat them real fast...then brush my teeth so no one would smell the peanut butter. My husband never knew about this until years later......
So, there you have it.......we Italians are foodies and like to show our love with big eleborate spreads...........so don't think we are trying to be show offs........we are just trying to make everyone at our table feel special.
