Corky Ballas talks about Dancing With the Stars, and his professional dance career! We are proud to announce that Corky is the current Pro/Am Champion. We love watching Mark Ballas on Dancing with the stars....Corky is his father, and trainer of Dancing With the Stars' Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, and Julianne Hough.
Corky started dancing at age 6. As a pro, Corky partnered with Shirley and they became US Champions, a title they held for 8 years. Corky and Shirley Ballas appeared on PBS, continuing to enjoy dance, and winning many titles all over the US.
Corky moved to England training there for 16 years. Corky did retire from competitive dancing in 1996, but in 1998, Corky became the “Dual of The Giants Champion”, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Corky and Karina Smirnoff, from Dancing With The Stars, filmed a dance video series....now that's one we all can enjoy learning from! Corky has other DVD's with him teaching Latin Technique, with Strictly Come Dancing Kristina Rihanoff.
For all of us familiar with Arthur Murray....Corky is the author of their Latin syllabus used in over 200 schools nationwide.
CAROL CHATELLIER joins us tonight on Chit Chat Cafe Live talking about her book, "It Is What It Is..beating breast cancer using chemo, radiation and email!" Carol was a busy mom when cancer struck in 2005. Carol now volunteers, and works for Ashley Farms! Carol received her Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY, so we will all enjoy chatting with Carol tonight! We can't wait to learn more about her positive attitude, her interest in fashion, all that she's doing now that she's cancer free!
WES HAYDEN is with us at Chit Chat Cafe Live tonight, too! Wes was known as the bad boy, country singer on Bachelorette Season 5, and Bachelor Pad. Tonight we are thrilled to talk to Wes about his new CD "Full Circle"!
While on the Bachelorette, we all remember Wes had an alleged girlfriend, Laurel Kagay. Remember when Wes himself even admitted to having a GF in cab after being sent home by AliFedotowsky. We were all surprised that Wes did not participate in the "Men tell All" segment of Bachelorette!
Wes Hayden's CD "Full Circle" has 10 great traditional Texas style country songs all written by Hayden. "Texas Country BUZZ Magazine" reports, “Wes has a powerful collection of true Texas music that blends itself within Nashville roots. “Full Circle” is one of the most promising albums of the year! Every track off of this 10 album made me want to get on the dance floor."
Wes reports that he was influenced by: Alan Jackson, Keith Whitley, George Strait, Merle Haggard, George Jones, and George Strait. Wes' Grandfather, Louis Henderson, was a country singer/songwriter and wrote for George Jones. He played with Jones and BJ Thomas.
Wes has been on tour, appearing at Pub Fiction, and Cadillac Ranch. Recently he was in Nashville recording. Wes has to describe for us on Chit Chat Cafe Live how he felt performing for George W. Bush.
We are hoping Wes will play his music for us tonight on Chit Chat Cafe Live! Maybe it will be our favorite, “You Still Get Me."

Great Recipes!
- Lemon Freeze......Fab Intermezzo1 Cup Milk 1 cup Whipping Cream 1 Cup Sugar 3 TBSP grated lemon rind 1/3 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice Combine milk, whipping cream & sugar in a medium bowl..stir until sugar dissolves. Cover and freeze 2 hours. Add rind and juice, beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened. Cover tightly, and freeze at least 24 hours and up to 2 weeks! Serve in beautiful tiny glasses witha sprig of mint...to be served between salad and main course or a holiday or fancy dinner.
