Marcel Vigneron is sharing his Dragon's Breath with all of us tonight! Yes, Top Chef's Marcel Vigneron is premiering his new cooking show, "Marcel's Quantum Kitchen" on the SyFy Channel tonight at 10pmEST.
Tune in to watch Marcel make his scientific version of Rice Krispie Treats. Marcel stopped by Jimmy Fallen, and The Today Show to share his scientifically delicious treats.... Marcel starts with wild rice, which looks too much like mealworms...YUK! He heats the wild rice with sugar turning the rice into puffed rice. The next part of the recipe involves protective eye wear, proving that we should never try this on our own at home!! The protective eye wear, and hand protection is due to Marcel using liquid nitrogen.
Marcel drops the rice krispie treats into the -320 degree liquid nitrogen. Remember do not try this at home!!! Marcel then allows this extremely cold treat to cool and when he pops them into his mouth, smoke comes out of his nose and mouth!! This Food Network, Top Chef Star is taking Dragon's anything to the next level! Harry Potter and Charlie Sheen could take lessons from Marcel!
